Step 1. Open Control Panel, click “System and Security” > “Administrative Tool” > “Services”.

Step 2. In the Service window, find “Distributed link tracking client” option, right click it and choose “Properties”.

Step 3. In the pop window, change “Automatic” into “Disabled” of “Startup type”. Then click “Apply” and “OK”.

Step 4. Now, right click Start button, click “Command Prompt (Admin)”. Click “Yes” if you receive a pop window.

Step 5. In the CMD window, type “C:” and click “Enter”. You need to change the drive letter based on your case.

Step 6. Type rmdir “System Volume Information” /s and click “Enter”.

Step 7. Then CMD will ask you to confirm the operation, type “Y” and “Enter” to confirm.
