Solution 1. Windows built-in tool

Windows provide users with a built-in tool - bootrec.exe.tool. You can use it to repair the MBR if you encounter the problem of Windows boot failure. The specific steps are below:

1. Press F8 to go to the Windows Recovery Menu while booting Windows 10 system.

2. After that, choose “Troubleshoot” > “Advanced options” to get into the “Automatic Repair” menu.

3. Then, click the command prompt to use Bootrec.exe tool. And input the following commands, and run them one by one:

▶bootrec /RebuildBcd

▶bootrec /fixMbr

▶bootrec /fixboot

▶bootsect /nt60 SYS or bootsect /nt60 ALL
