Partition Magic was developed by PowerQuest Corporation. After it was purchased by Symantec, it was renamed as Norton Partition Magic. It is popular partition software and enjoys powerful features like resize, move, merge, split and copy disks partitions with NTFS or FAT16/32 file systems.

Alternative to Partition Magic for Server 2012

On December 8, 2009, Symantec official website stated that they do not update Partition Magic any more. The server edition of Partition Magic can’t support Windows Server 2012. In such condition, you can turn to an alternative to the Partition Magic.
