A file with EFI file extension is an Extensible Firmware Interface file. Step 1. Insert Windows 10 installation media and boot from it. If you don’t have Windows 10 installation media, you can download Windows 10 Media Creation tool to create one.

Step 2. Press any key as instructed. Select a language, time, currency, keyboard, or input method, then click Next.

Step 3. Click Repair your computer, then select Troubleshoot.

Step 4. Choose Command Prompt in Advanced Options.

Step 5. Type bootrec.exe and hit enter, then input these commands and run one by one.

Step 6. Type exit and press Enter. Then restart the computer to see if the issue is solved.
