What factory reset does to your PC?

A factory reset, which is also commonly referred to as a hard reset or a master reset, involves restoring an electronic device's software to its original system state and manufacturer settings. This process effectively erases all user data and information that may have been stored on the device. However, it should be noted that pre-installed applications and data remain unaffected by this action.

To elaborate further, a factory reset is a useful tool when an electronic device begins to experience various software issues that cannot be resolved through other means. By resetting the device to its original factory settings, any complex software or configurations that may be causing problems can be eliminated, allowing the device to function once again as intended.

However, a factory reset should only be used as a last option because it would destroy all personal data and settings on the device. Before conducting a factory reset, ensure you make a backup of any vital data or information. Additionally, while trying a factory reset, users should verify they are following necessary procedures and safeguards to minimize any potential issues or harm to their device.
