Do you intend to tick "Check partitions before execution" when using AOMEI Partition Assistant to adjust partition size? If so, there may be a prompt message to inform you that "Check partition timeout, the partitions may have some errors". How to solve the problem? There are two methods, you can choose any one.

Method 1: Uncheck the "Check partitions before execution" option

You can stop the operation and uncheck the "Check partitions before execution" option, and then click "Proceed" to retry.

Method 2: Fix errors on partition

The reason why a prompt message comes out is that there may be some errors on partition. Therefore, you can abort the current operation and try to fix errors on partition, and then try again. To fix errors, please choose one of the following solutions. No matter the errors have been fixed or not, we still recommend you to uncheck the "Check partitions before execution" option.

1. Use "Check Partition" function in AOMEI Partition Assistant

Right click the partition which has errors and select "Advanced", and then choose "Check Partition". In the pop-up window, choose the first option: "Check partition and fix errors in this partition by using chkdsk.exe".

2. Use command line to check partition and fix errors

Press "Win + R" on the keyboard. Input "CMD" and press "Enter". Command line prompt will open.

Input command line:chkdsk D:/f. After pressing "Enter", the partition checking tool will scan D partition and fix errors. If you want to check other partition, just replace the change letter D:, such as chkdsk E:/f.

3. Use "Tools" in partition properties

You can open Windows Explorer and right click the partition which you want to check, and then select "Properties". In the pop-up window, select "Tools". There are two buttons in the interface. You can click "Check".
