The PC hard drive is the most important storage device on the computer. When the hard drive is not in good condition, it will directly affect the operating efficiency of the computer.

Step 1. Right-click the target drive and click "Check Partition".
Step 2. You have three choices to check the target drive, click the "Check partition and fix errors in this partition by using chkdsk.exe" and "OK".
Step 3. A small window will pop out when the task is finished, click "OK".
Since file fragments are scattered across the hard drive, reading and writing related information takes much time, for the head repeatedly jumps in the hard drive to read these file fragments. When your computer slows down, defragmenting disk is a worth-trying method.

Step 1. Right-click the drive you want to defrag and then click "Disk Defrag".
Step 2. In the "Disk Defrag" window, choose the target drive and click "Analyze".
Step 3. To defrag the target drive regularly, you can click "Schedule".
Step 4. In the "Schedule Settings" window, choose the target drive and set the special time to defrag it, then click "OK". You can click "Conditions" to set more.
Step 5. In the "Conditions" window, set the more options and click "OK".
Step 6. Click "Defrag" to start the disk defragment task.

Step 1. Click "Free up" and select "Delete Large Files".
Step 2. In the new interface, you will see all partitions on the PC, tick the target one and click "Start Scan".
Step 3. All the large files on the target drive will be found and listed out, the important large files will be marked to red (It is not recommend to delete them). Tick the target large files and click "Delete".
Step 4. Check the selected large files once again, then click "Delete Now".
